VSSN New Researchers Online Session – January 2025
The next VSSN online session will take place on Wednesfay 22nd January 2025, 13:00-14:00.
Olu Adeyemo (from Sheffield Hallam) & Chelle Coulton have taken on organising the regular new researchers’ sessions from Daniel & Helen. These sessions are open to anyone with an interest in the voluntary sector, as an academic, a practitioner, or otherwise, who considers themselves new (or new-ish) to research. So if that sounds like you, we’d love to see you there!

As well as the usual opportunity to meet with one another and share how things are going, Angela Ellis Paine will join us to talk about becoming a peer reviewer, particularly with Voluntary Sector Review in mind. Angela is Lecturer in Voluntary Sector Management at Bayes Business School and chair of the Editorial Management Board and International Advisory Board for Voluntary Sector Review. Please bring any questions you have about peer reviewing, especially if (like me) this is not something you’ve done yet.
